I love my morning green juice. I like to vary the ingredients and incorporate local, seasonal produce. This recipe of my favourite luscious green juice was featured in the HTW Community Cookbook in USA.
Ingredients:
1 cup of baby spinach leaves
1/2 cup of kale
1 handful of parsley
1/2 a cucumber
3 celery sticks
1/2 a lemon
1/4″ slice of ginger
1 green apple
Method:
Wash and prepare the ingredients for juicing. Remove the juice of 1/2 a lemon separately. Juice all the other ingredients in your juicer. Combine the lemon juice with the rest of the juice. This recipe makes one serving. The luscious green juice is best consumed immediately. It can be stored in the fridge and consumed within 24 hours.
